Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Gena came out of her retirement from a 30 year career as a legal secretary at an oil and gas law firm to pursue her passion in working with animals.
In her spare time she trains and competes in dog agility with her two papillons, Zipper and Jetz. Gena and her Pomeranian, Popeye, won the AKC National Agility Invitational 8” Division in Long Beach, California, in 2010.
